UNAS VACACIONES TRABAJADAS, PERO AL FINAL, FUERON GRATIFICANTES

 

Como lo he hecho cada año desde que estoy en Estados Unidos, cuando llega el invierno, voy a mi país de origen (Uruguay) y a la ciudad donde nací: Montevideo.

Toda la costa sur de Uruguay está bañada por las aguas del Río de la Plata y cuando se alcanza el Este, por el Océano Atlántico. Eso justifica que cuando uno planea sus vacaciones espere ir a la playa y pasar varios días haciendo eso.

Pero no fue mi caso. Aunque estaba residiendo en un barrio muy lindo en un área sofisticada, algo llegó a ser muy importante para mi: la aparición del segundo informe de AARO. Como investigador y estudioso de los Fenómenos Aéreos No-Identificados, estuve aguardando con gran interés la publicación de la versión no secreta de dicho informe.

En realidad, muchas personas estaban esperando ese informe porque debería haber sido presentado al Selecto Comité de Inteligencia del Senado en Octubre de 2022, pero –supongo que aguardando los resultados de las elecciones a medio-tiempo- el informe apareció el 12 de Enero, cuando ya estaba en mis vacaciones, y tan pronto como apareció adquirió prioridad.

Leí dos veces el documento y escribí mi evaluación la cual compartí en esta página web.

Luego de eso, pensé que debía una explicación a las personas de aquí, acerca de qué es lo que estaba pasando en Estados Unidos en relación con los U.A.P., y decidí preparar una presentación con imágenes en PowerPoint. Y dediqué horas en la preparación de ese material.

Los canales de TV aquí aparentemente no supieron que estaba en Montevideo, aunque pienso que quizás lo supieron y las fuerzas que hacen dinero del tema UAP les presionaron para ser entrevistadas, sólo para expandir la creencia en extraterrestres, contactados, mensajes del Espacio, etc. Toda la barata locura que vende tan bien.

Repentinamente, una maravillosa oportunidad se abrió para mi de dialogar con el pueblo uruguayo: dos contactos que hice por mi mismo. Uno fue con el Padre Fabián Rovere, un sacerdote

Católico que tiene un programa diario en Radio Oriental. Cada vez que vengo a Montevideo, tengo la oportunidad de ser entrevistado por él, a quien considero un buen amigo mío.

El segundo contacto fue con un periodista de alta calidad. Su nombre es Emiliano Cotelo, y tiene un programa llamado “En Perspectiva” cada mañana. Su programa ha adquirido gran prestigio. Importantes políticos y miembros del Gobierno son frecuentemente invitados para ser entrevistados por el Sr. Cotelo.

Me presenté, envié información sobre mi relación de casi 65 años con el tema OVNI, aparte de los libros que escribí, etc.
Finalmente obtuve esa entrevista en horario central del programa, y para mi, fue un verdadero placer dialogar con el señor Cotelo durante 45 minutos, el Jueves 23 de Febrero de 2023.

El programa fue grabado y se compartieron el texto, el sonido y un video que se puede encontrar en YouTube.

El mismo día dí una conferencia en el Planetario de Montevideo.

Aproximadamente unas 170 personas casi llenaron la sala de 180 butacas. Me sentí satisfecho. Pero lo mejor fueron los comentarios de personas importantes, acerca de mi intervención en el programa                                              

"En Perspectiva”. Profesores de Astronomía, y una muy importante personalidad uruguaya, el Profesor de Filosofía y Ciencias de la Religión Dr. Miguel Pastorino, elogió mi participación en el programa y me calificó de “un referente internacional” en el tema UAP.

Agradezco desde lo profundo de mi corazón a todas las personas que escucharon o vieron mi entrevista en el programa “En Perspectiva” y siguieron con interés mi presentación en el Planetario.

¡Eso es lo que realmente importa! Reportar honestamente qué es lo que está pasando y mantener a las personas bien informadas.

A WORKED VACATIONS, BUT --ALL IN ALL-- THEY WERE REWARDING

As I have done every year since I am in the United States, when it comes to winter, I go to my native country (Uruguay) and the city where I was born: Montevideo.

All the southern coast of Uruguay is bathed by the waters of the River Plate (Río de la Plata) and when you reach East, by the Atlantic Ocean.

That justifies that when you plan your vacations you expect to go to the beach and spend days doing so.

But it was not my case. Although I was residing in a very nice neighborhood in an upscale area, something became very important to me: the appearance of the second report from AARO. As an investigator and scholar of the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, I was expecting with great interest the publication of the Non-Classified version of that report.

As a matter of fact, many people were waiting for that report, because it should have been submitted to the Selected Intelligence Committee of the Senate, in October of 2022, but --I suppose waiting for the complete results of the mid-term elections--the report appeared on January 12, when I was already in my vacations, and as soon that happened it acquired priority.

I read twice the document and I wrote my evaluation which I shared on this web page.

After that, I thought I owe an explanation to the people here about what was going on in the United States regarding the UAP subject, and I decided to prepare a presentation with images in PowerPoint. And I dedicated hours to the preparation of that material.

 The TV channels here apparently didn't know that I was in Montevideo, although I think that maybe they knew and the forces that make money out of the UAP subject pushed them to be interviewed, only to expand the belief in ETs, contactees, messages from the Space, etc. All the cheap craziness that sells so well.

Suddenly, a wonderful opportunity was opened for me to talk to the Uruguayan people. Two contacts that I made by myself. One was with Father Fabian Rovere, a Catholic priest that has a daily program on Radio Oriental. Every time I come to Montevideo, I have the opportunity to be interviewed by him, who I consider a good friend of mine.

The second contact was with a high quality journalist. His name is Emiliano Cotelo, and he has a program named "In Perspective" every morning. His program has adquired great prestige. Important politicians and members of the Government are frequently invited to be interviewed by Mr.Cotelo. 

I had to introduce myself, and sent information about my relationship of nearly 65 years with the UFO matter, besides the books that I wrote, etc. Finally, I got that interview in the central time of the program, and for me, it was a real pleasure to talk with Mr. Cotelo for 45 minutes on Thursday, February 23, 2023

This program was recorded and shared the text, the sound, and a video that you could find on YouTube.

The same day I gave a lecture at the Montevideo Planetarium.

About 165 people almost filled the hall of 180 seats. I was satisfied.

But the best thing was the comments of relevant people about my intervention in the program "In Perspective". Professors of Astronomy, and a very important Uruguayan personality in the area of Philosophy, Faith, etc., Dr. Miguel Pastorino, praised my participation in the program and called me "an international referrer" on the UAP matter.

I thank from the bottom of my heart all the people that listened to or saw my interview at the "In Perspective" program and followed with interest my presentation at the Planetarium.

That is really what matters!  Report honestly what is going on and keep the people well informed.
