It was on March 30, 1989, when our dear friend Hermann Jegerlehner, left this world forever.
He was a pioneer of the Uruguayan Ufology. Together with Walter Cifarelli, Vicente Curci, Jorge Denevi, Milton Hourcade, Germán Vázquez y Juan C. Zamudio, co-founded the now historical Unidentified Flying Objects Investigation Center (Centro de Investigación de Objetos Voladores Inidentificados) C.I.O.V.I.
Had he being with us now, Jegerlehner would be 74 years old.
He was an infatigable researcher, a trusted treasurer, a careful archivist, and a dedicated lecturer and writer dealing with the UFO subject.
Personally, he was a great friend and he epitome of a good man.
We will always miss him a lot.
Uruguay should give to him the homage he deserves.
Milton W. Hourcade
